Just so you get an idea:
Here is a picture of me and my partner; just so you get an idea of who we are.
Lots of Dots of Boxes:
Our project is to make a board game but with it chemistry based. So my partner Ethan and I are going to base our board game over the Dots and Boxes game mostly seen on the Kindle.
Notes:
Materials: Three pieces of ply board cut to be to be one foot by one foot. Four hinges for the board to fold up. With approximately twenty-four screws to screw the hinges to the boards. With sixteen card board dots painted black, nine more dots painted blue and another nine painted green, and twenty-four, one foot by one foot, lines painted blue and twenty-four more painted green.
Ethan and I are going to ask questions if the they get one right they will place one of the lines on the board wherever they choose. So getting the questions is one of the last materials we need. Since tenth graders (in Texas) have to take the TAKS test, and since our school no longer provides tutorials after school, so we thought why not incorporate TAKS test questions with our game. So we are looking at last years TAKS questions and tweaking them to be our own.
